Course Objectives To introduce students to the fundamentals of rotorcraft dynamics and aeroelasticity, and to provide necessary background to equip students to do additional research and analysis in the field.
Course Description Bu ders kapsamında; helikopter palleri rijit hareket dinamiği, helikopter aerodinamiği ve helikopter aeroelastsitesi konuları detaylı bir biçimde işlenmektedir.
Course Outcomes After completing this lecture successfully, the students are expected to have knowledge about
1. Helicopter aerodynamics
2. Helicopter blade rigid motion (flapping, lead-lag and pitching) structural dynamics
3. Stability in hover and forward flight conditions
4. Aeroelastic analysis
