KIM 532 - Organic Reaction Mechanisms II
Course Objectives
To provide the ionic, pericyclic and radicalic reaction mechanisms that especially realized in nature being the ones of the basic organic mechanisms .
To provide the thereotical and practical proficiencies for researches in organic chemistry and related sciences (genetic, food, biochemistry, and textiles).
To give the ability to synthesize and analyze of the natural/synthetic molecules
Course Description
Basic concepts and representations of stereochemistry,Nucleophilic substitution reactions of saturated hydrocarbons, Elimination reactions of saturated hydrocarbons, Addition reactions to multiple bonds Substitution and addition reactions to carbonyl carbon,Aromatic electrophilic/nucleophilic substitution reactions,Mechanisms of pericyclic reactions,Radicalic mechanisms
