4. Providing information about the Fashion Retailing, and the policies and strategies that are applied in fashion retailing
5. Providing understanding of the significance of the branding and benchmarking in the fashion industry

Meaning and principles of fashion. Fashion movements: theories of fashion movements, factors that speed or slow fashion movement The fashion cycle. The business of making and selling fashion: Fashion pipeline, the consumption of fashion goods. Fashion business in today’s world, globalization of the fashion industry. Global fashion markets. Fashion retailing, the policies and strategies in fashion retailing. Fashion benchmarking: Fashion producers in other countries. Satisfying the fashion market, adapting to change in fashion markets, niche markets. Brands in fashion products: Fashion branding, retail branding and private labels. Fashion accessories.
