1.To teach the flow behavior of bulk solids
2. To teach the experimental procedures for the flow properties of bulk solids
3. To teach silo designs for bulk solids

Course Description

Introduction: storage and flow of bulk solids; Storage and handling systems, basic material properties; Flowability of solids, flow channels; Determination of flow properties of bulk solids; Design of storage and handling systems; Bin design, wall pressure, feeders.
