Course Objectives		Analysis, design and optimization of digital integrated circuits with respect to design metrics such as cost, reliability, power consumption and speed.
Course Description		Introduction to digital integrated circuits and VLSI design. CMOS devices and manufacturing technology. CMOS inverters, combinational logic gates and logic styles, sequential logic circuits at the transistor-level. On-chip interconnect. Analysis, design and optimization of digital integrated circuits with respect to design metrics such as cost, reliability, power consumption and speed. Computer-aided design tools for integrated circuits.
