Course Objectives The overall educational objective of this course is to enable students to:

2. Design reliable and economic quality control systems.
Course Description Dimensions of Quality, The Meaning of Quality Engineering, Quality costs, Six-Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Variable Control Charts, Attribute Control Charts, Process Capability, Measurement System Capability, Time-Weighted Control Charts, Design of Control Charts, Multivariate Statistical Process Control, Basic Acceptance Sampling Procedures, Military Standard 105E Sampling Plans, Dodge-Romig Sampling Plans
Course Outcomes Following completion of this course the student will be able to;
1. Gather and analyze data
2. Sketch and interpret control chart
3. Determine process and measurement system capability
4. Design acceptance sampling plan
5. Interpret and redesign statistical process control tools
