Understanding the physical mechanisms of heat and mass transfer phenomena; building mathematical models of such phenomena; obtaining exact and approximate analytical solutions of them.

Physical mechanisms of transport phenomena, governing equations and boundary conditions. 1-dimensional diffusion. 2 and 3-dimensional diffusion. Transient diffusion. Analogy of traansport phenomena. Laminar convection. Turbulent convection. Natural convection.
