Emission abatement technologies, maritime conventions and strategies for air pollution prevention, alternative marine fuel rules, regulations, and guidelines, physical, chemical, and special properties of gaseous and liquid alternative marine fuels, production processes and methods of alternative marine fuels, combustion concepts for alternative marine fuels, fuelling, storage, and main engine systems of alternative marine fuels, shipboard operations with alternative marine fuels, risk assessment and hazard control, emergency situations
