Course Objectives

1.To teach the general structure of GIS and geographic data processing.
2.To teach advanced spatial analysis techniques.
3.To perform GIS exercises related to the urban planning field.

Course Description

This course is designed for students who wish to use advanced GIS techniques in research or professional practice. The main topics covered in this course are geographic data models, raster and vector data, geographic data processing and model building, advanced spatial analysis techniques, interpolation techniques, time series analysis and presentation, and network analysis. Course materials will be provided through seminars and presentations.
