1. Teaching the parameters affecting on climate and energy control in the façade systems
2. Teaching the evaluation of the facade systems in terms of ventilation, heat and moisture
3. To improve the design of climate and energy efficient facade design related with the gained knowledge

Course Description

Climatic comfort, energy efficiency, parameters affecting climate and energy control in the facade systems, ventilation in the facade systems, natural ventilation systems, heat and moisture control, heat and moisture transfer through the facade envelope, physical properties of facade envelope related to heat and moisture, calculations related to the heat and moisture transfer, energy saving and heat insulation, climate and energy efficient design of the façade, examples, standards and regulations
