Course Objectives 1. To teach fundamental risk concepts and terminology,
2. To teach international regulatory requirement related to the risk management,
3. To teach the effects of human factor in risk management,
4. To teach qualitative and quantitative risk analysis methods,
5. To teach how to do risk assessment, evaluation and decision making.
Course Description Fundamental risk concepts and terminology, international regulatory requirements related to the risk management, links between risk incident/accident and safety culture, human factor in risk management, key risk management implementation issues, quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methods, risk assessment, evaluation and decision making.
Course Outcomes Graduate students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skills and proficiencies in the following issues;

I. Learn fundamental risk concepts and terminology,
II. Learn international regulatory requirement related to the risk management
III. Learn the effects of human factor in risk management
IV. Learn qualitative and quantitative risk analysis methods,
V. Learn how to do risk assessment, evaluation and decision making.
