MBL 517E - Digital Fabrication & Prototyping in Architectural Design
Course Objectives
This course aims to learn and apply Digital Fabrication and Prototyping techniques - with discussions that theoretically support their impact on architectural design theory and practice. During the term, different techniques will be learned in depth in the context of the design-to-production processes and will be supported by two follow-up projects. The projects will be organized in such a way as to open up the theoretical discussions they will create about architectural design and digital fabrication rather than being only the final products for manufacturing.
