Course Objectives
Teaching laws of thermodynamics, availibility analysis, equations of state, thermodynamic relations, homogenenous mixtures, multiphase multicomponent systems, chemical reactions and chemical equilibrium. Provide graduate students with advanced thermodynamic knowlege required by real problems.
Course Description
Laws of thermodynamics. Availibility analysis. Equations of state. Thermodynamic relations. Homogenenous mixtures. Multiphase multicomponent systems. Chemical reactions and chemical equilibrium.
Course Outcomes
1. Learning the thermodynamic concepts
2. Learning the availability and ability to apply it to thermodynamic systems
3. Learning thermodynamic relations and ability to apply it to problems
4. Learning thermodynamics of homogeneous mixtures and ability to apply it to real problems
