NSE 604E - Nuclear Techn.for Nanomaterial

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to examine the structural characterization and test performance of nanomaterials for alternative energy technologies such as fuel cells and hydrogen storage using advanced nuclear techniques. Since nuclear methods play an important role in the development of nanomaterials with a high level of performance, the aim of this course is to use ionizing radiation (gamma, electron, ion beam) for the development of nanomaterials with the application of nuclear techniques and to examine neutron imaging setups.
