Course Objectives
1. Adapting recent developments in Process Control subjects and applications,
2. Control Systems to be applied for higher degree academic studies based on Chemical Processes.
Course Description
Overview of Classical/Conventional Control Systems, Investigation of Lineer and Non-Linear Systems, Process Modeling, Process Identification, Control Systems With Multiple Loops, Multi Variable Systems, Interaction of Control Loops, Stability, Performance and Robustness, Frequency Response Methods Controller Designs, Controller Tuning Methods, Modified Methods
Course Outcomes
Students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge in the following subjects ;
1. Understanding Classical/Conventional Control Systems in detail,
2. Advanced Process Control topics and extensions,
3. Recent developments in Process Control subjects and applications,
4. Control Systems to be applied for higher degree academic studies based on Chemical Processes.

• 70% attendance,
• HW (20 points), MT (30 points), FE/TP (50 points)
• Timely submission of homework,
• Getting at least 30 points in total from Homework and Midterm Exam.
