Course Objectives

Course Description
This course is concerned with advanced aspects of metalliferous and coal mine underground ventilation practice and environmental control. In addition to taking topics covered in the Mine Ventilation course to a more advanced level, emphasis is also placed on operational aspects such as controlling complex mine ventilation networks and planning ventilation requirements to manage both health and safety related risks.
