MKM 511E - Special Topics in Mechatr.Eng.
Course Objectives
This course focuses on special topics in mechatronics engineering, providing students with comprehensive knowledge of modern design processes, material selection, finite element analysis (FEA), and system simulations. Advanced analysis methods such as weight distribution, static and dynamic analysis, fatigue, and aerodynamic design in mechatronic systems are covered. Additionally, innovative solution development and evaluation processes for design problems are examined. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications and project-based learning to equip students with hands-on skills.
Course Description
The aim of this course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of special topics in mechatronics engineering and to equip them with knowledge and skills in modern design processes and analysis methods. The course focuses on technical subjects such as material selection, finite element analysis, and static and dynamic analysis, while also fostering the ability to develop innovative and creative design solutions. With a balanced approach to theoretical knowledge and practical applications, the course aims to prepare students to play an active role in mechatronic system design and problem-solving processes.
