Course Objectives

Learning the definition of science and scientific allusion methods, Learning scientific methodology, research design and data collection methods, Learning the types of scientific publications (thesis, article, report, etc.), Learning the ethical principles that must be followed in scientific research and publication, Evaluating successful presentation techniques, current developments in the field. Ability to systematically convey developments and one's own work to groups within and outside the field, in written, oral and visual form, supported by quantitative and qualitative data.

Definition and development of science, scientific research approach, literature analysis, research design, quantitative and qualitative research methods, data collection, thesis, project, and scientific article writing techniques, ethical principles to be followed when conducting research, ethical principles to be followed when publishing, ethics in reference. principles, points to be considered in order to make a successful presentation, making presentations within the scope of the thesis topic/own engineering field.
