Course Objectives
1. To teach modern satellite positioning systems and
2. To teach basic principle and operation techniques to use satellite positioning
Course Description
Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR), Laser Lunar Ranging (LLR), Satellite Altimeter (SA), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Interference SAR (InSAR), Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) etc
Course Outcomes
Students who enroll this course will;

i. Learn the basic concepts of artificial satellites
ii. Understand the principles of current satellite surveying systems
iii. Learn the application areas for current satellite positioning techniques
iv. Remember the International institutions and their use of artificial satellites
