Course Objectives		1. to give the knowledge about the some heterocyclic compounds 2. to give the knowledge about their reactions and synthesis 3. to give the knowledge about the biological activities of some heterocyclic compounds found in human body.
Course Description		General informations and nomenclatures, epoxides, aziridines, thiirans,Oxetans, azetidines; synthesis and reactions, Furan,Pyrrol and thiophene; synthesis and reactions, Pyridin and derivatives : synthesis and reactions, Benzofurans and benzopyrans, Vitamines, coenzymes, and nucleic acids.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to: I. Have general information about the heterocyclic compounds, II. Have knowledge’s about tri- member heterocyclic compounds III. Have knowledge’s about four- member heterocyclic compounds IV. Have knowledge’s about five- member heterocyclic compounds V. Have knowledge’s about six- member heterocyclic compounds VI. Have knowledge’s about condensed heterocyclic compounds VII. Have knowledge’s about some biological active heterocyclic compounds
