Course Objectives
1. to develop skill in the use of quantitative models to address supply chain problems
2. to develop a deeper understanding of supply chain problems
3. to reveal ideas for new research studies in the area of supply chain management.
Course Description
The course studies quantitative models that explore the key issues associated with the design and management of supply chains. These include (but not limited to) mathematical programming, stochastic, fuzzy, and decision making models that focuses on network design, inventory management, reverse logistics, supply chain contracts, and supply chain uncertainties. Special attention will be given to discussion of contemporary studies on the related topics.
