Course Objectives

Its is aimed to support the knowledge for graduates coming from different disciplines of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture

Course Description

Analysis of urban pattern, evaluation of historical sites, traditional urban structure, analysis of social and cultural systems. Different structural systems required by building complexes; effects of material and construction system; relationship of an urban space and structure; climatic, audial and visual comfort and architectural product; sub-systems of buildings (heating, air-conditioning, climatic systems); clean water and sewage systems; change in 19th century architectural styles; first experts of modern architecture; modernity in urban scale; post - modern and present movements in architecture.
