Course Objectives
1. To enlighten students about microfibers.
2. To give students detailed information about production methods and application fields of microfibers.
3. To provide students with necessary information about microfibre product design and production process in order to make them create combinations of microfibre machinery and process.
Course Description
Microfibre production and production methods. Types of microfibres and their properties. Fields of microfibre application. Advantages and disadvantages of microfibre usage in spinning, weaving, knitting, dying and non-woven production processes.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course, the students will have:
I. Knowledge about the structure and properties of microfibres used in textile.
II. Knowledge about the production technology of microfibres.
III. Knowledge about the production technology of microfibre products.
IV. Knowledge about the applications of microfibres in textile.
V. The ability of designing a microfibre product
