Course Description		Definition of flood, Flood types, Damages due to the floods, Classification of damages due to flood, Determination of damages due to floods, Flood frequency, Flood warning methods, Engineering measures for flood control, Upstream and downstream programs for flood control, Method of computing rainfall floods, Flood insurance.
Course Outcomes		Students who take this course gain knowledge, skills and proficiency in the fallowing subjects. 1. Flood types, 2. Classification and aggregation of flood damages, 3.
