Course Objectives 1. To define the mechanisms about creating space 2. To define problems and dynamics in creating space 3. To investigate urban applications, decision-making processes and implementation tools. 4. To question the role of city players in urban applications by responding “what was targeted? what was achieved?”
Course Description City players and city; Significant players for creating urban space; Missions and authority; local government; Central government; Governership and related authorities; Approach of actors and regulation; Activities; Application fields and methods; Experiences of players; Problems; dynamics; suggestions.
Course Outcomes Graduate students who successfully pass this course gain the following knowledge, skills and proficiencies
1. To define the mechanisms and dynamics about creating space
2. To define the problems in urbanization
