Course Objectives 1. To obtain the dynamic models of induction machines
2. As a result of transformations in a model for the creation of models of the machine control values
3. To discuss on the variables which are affecting the speed changing of machine
4. To be given control and estimation methods to control the induction machine in a wide range
Course Description Dynamic mathematical model of induction machine for control, state variables and transfer functions, control features and mathematical models of static power converters used as drivers. Scalar control methods, field orientation, direct and indirect vector control, modern control applications in induction machines. Digital drives, technology and design principles.
Course Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course

1. Know steady-state sinusoidal behavior of induction machine (IM) and obtain machine characteristics,
2. Know variables are able to change speed of IM
3. Know using areas og induction generators,
4. Know scalar control methods of Ims
5. Know dynamic models og IMs,
6. Obtain and use Park ve Clarck transformations for IM,
7. Know vector control methods of IM,
8. Design a flux and torque estimators ;
9. Can design speed control systems of IM,
