Course Objectives 1. To enable student to recognize the principles of critical and analytical thinking
2. To demonstrate the ability to formulate and solve problems using the tools and methods of critical thinking
3. To make aware of the role of questioning in thinking critical

Course Description Definition of Critical thinking; A brief history of Critical thinking; Critical thinking process; Factors affecting Critical thinking; Critical thinking framework; The role of questioning in Critical thinking; The art of questioning; Socratic questionaing; Convergent and Divergent questioning; Reasoning and critical thinking; Deductive reasoning; Inductive reasoning; Creative thinking
