Course Objectives		1. To get knowledge and skills on engine room resource management, sharing workload, decision making and situational awareness, 2. To get knowledge and skills on engine room team management and leadership.
Course Description		Engine room resources management. Knowledge and skill of effective engine room resources management. Shipboard personnel management and training. Task and workload management, engine room organization, team management and leadership. Decision making and situational awareness. Engine room team management practices.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to; I. Learn management of engine room resources, organization and procedures. II. Learn about team building and development, Situational Awareness and Error Trapping. III. Learn about management of stress and workload and fatigue. IV. Learn about crisis situation, leadership and group decision making. V. Learn about principles of effective engine room watch-keeping VI. Learn about engine room team management practices.
