EFN 211E - Statistical Methods in Economics
Course Objectives
This course presents an introduction to statistical concepts with an emphasis on the applicability of the methods to management and economic problems. The following topics will be covered: data collection, interpretation and presentation, probability and random variables, discrete random variables and their distribution, continuous random variable and their distribution, sampling and sampling distributions, point estimation, confidence interval estimation, and hypothesis testing.
