Course Description
The course covers descriptive statistics, measures of central tendency and dispersion, graphical illustrations, and frequency distributions. It then focuses on sampling methods, point and interval estimation, principles of statistical decision-making, and hypothesis testing. Topics include hypothesis tests for means, variances, and proportions; chi-square and nonparametric tests; analysis of variance; and regression and correlation.
By the end of the course, students will acquire the ability to analyze real-world data using statistical methods, draw valid inferences, and evaluate results from a scientific perspective
