Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the structure, actors and core documents of liner shipping operations. It further seeks to develop students' understanding of the role of freight forwarders in international supply chains, along with freight rates, cost components and operational processes, through practical examples.

Course Description

This course examines the basic concepts and operations of liner shipping and freight forwarding. Liner operations, transport documents, freight and cost components, and the intermediary role of freight forwarders in international supply chains constitute the main topics of the course.
