Course Objectives		The students will learn to: 1) Speak about facts in the past combining the 3 more important past tenses in Spanish language. 2) They will be able to use simple conjunctions like: “because”, “although”, “even”, “yet”, “that” and build simple subordinate sentences. 3) Talk about their homes now and before and compare life in the town and in the city. 4) Use personal pronouns of “complemento directo” and “indirecto”. 5) Dialogue in a restaurant and supermarket.
Course Description		Pre-Intermediate level Spanish grammar and vocabulary, and preparations for A2 level of DELE exams in line with Common European Framework of Reference.
Course Outcomes		1) Explain in details facts in the past and evaluate them. 2) Use preposition and build simple subordinate sentences. 3) Be able to express an idea carefully and slowly and understand subjects of conversation. 4) Be able to explain and understand biographies. 5) Make oral presentations for the class. 6) Summarize a book.
Pre-requisite(s)		Having taken 102 or A 2.1 course. It is possible also to have coordinator’s consent after a level exam done it the first day of the course during the drop week or before.
