Course Objectives		To prepare engineer candidates for professional life in multinational workplaces through increasing their Professional English language competency with virtual reality practices that simulate the work environment.
Course Description		Foreign language learning activities enhanced with VR applications; including four language skills, grammar and vocabulary content to improve prospective engineers’ Business English competency required in their professional life.
Course Outcomes		Through experiences in virtual reality environments integrated into course content, the students who complete the course successfully will be able to: 1. achieve effective verbal and written communication using proper vocabulary, grammar and formatting required for job application process. 2. analyze texts using the basic concepts related to the processes of introduction of a new product in an international professional environment, make presentations in informal environments and prepare a feasibility report. 3. understand instructions related to production during the stages of a product that has reached the production stage, compromise on problems in meetings, prepare product proposals and manuals, prepare reports and communicate by e-mail. 4. plan the meeting processes about the safety quality problems encountered during the product production and distribution phase, provide effective communication at these meetings, make presentations using the basic concepts related to this process and write reports on the product quality. use the basic concepts encountered in the product sales and after-sales stages, attend meetings related to these processes, communicate in formal or informal environments, prepare advertisement brochures, and present advertisements.
