Dersin Amaçları

This class aims to introduce musical interaction design and interactive music composition in terms of related subjects such as conceptualization of musical instruments, interaction paradigms, components of (musical) interaction, multi-modality and multi-sensorality in musical interaction design and similar. In addition to theoretical discussions and reading assignments from related fields, different practice approaches and examples will be given and discussed. In addition to theoretical work, the class aims to enable students to develop an individualised practice approach throughout the semester with a concrete musical output at the end of the semester.
