Dersin Amaçları		1. To examine the evolution of the Balkan city model in history, 2. To explore the relationship between the Balkan cities and the Ottoman city model, 3. To focus on the main issues of Balkan cities in pre-Ottoman and Ottoman periods, 4. To examine the history of Balkan cities within an interdisciplinary approach by focusing on its relations with other disciplines in a historical perspective, 5. To develop the ability to read and understand texts, make research and write about history of the Balkan cities.
