Dersin Tanımı Dynamics of Point Masses, Two-Body Problem, Orbital Positions as a Function of Time, Orbits in Three Dimensions, Preliminary Orbit Determination, Orbital Maneuvers, Interplanetary Trajectories. Dersin Çıktıları Students, who passed the course satisfactorily can: Understand the natural laws related with orbital mechanics Understand the basic physical properties related with orbital mechanics Know the orbital elements Know the Low Earth Orbits and their usages Know the coordinate systems and performs the transformations among them Determine the orbit in Central force approximation (such as Gibbs method, ete.) Calculate the time passing in orbit Calculate the speed changes related with the orbital maneuvers. Calculate the basic design parameters (time, speed changes) related with the interplanetary orbits.
