Course Objectives

1. To build a solid foundation in quantitative understanding of concepts and principles of data analysis methods by introducing statistical methods
2. To provide students necessary tools to conduct scientifically sound analysis

Course Description

This course aims to provide solid foundation for the students conducting research in climate sciences. After successfully completing the course, students will have the skills to process raw data, conduct analysis using the right statistical models and make visual representations. Course will also teach programming in R and Python environments.
