Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to give general information about atmospheric models and to install and run the WRF which is an atmosphere model on the HPC system, and to evaluate the outputs.

Course Description

Dynamic models have been used widely in atmospheric sciences in recent years.In this course, information about the basic concepts and parameterizations used in modeling wıll be given. The platforms where the model is built, the data sets and formats it uses and the outputs it produces will be examined practically.
