Course Objectives

1. To illustrate the application of methods from natural sciences to anthropological issues,
2. To instruct how the results from natural sciences may be interpreted,
3. To assess the collaborative research between social and natural sciences.

Course Description

This course focuses on; Archaeology and Science, The Birth of Modern Archaeology, Archaeological Record, Field Archaeology, The Classification of Finds, The Analyses of Finds, Relative Dating, Absolute Dating, Bioarchaeology, Environment and Adaptation, Understanding the Cultural Change, Past Cultural Systems, Villages, and Urbanization.
