Course Objectives 1. To illustrate the relationship between ecosystem and cultural change,
2. To discuss the factors that affect the sustainability of development,
3. To examine the historical and current issues.
Course Description This course focuses on; Humanity and Wilderness, Population and Growth, Markets and Commodities, Institutions and Commons, Environmental Ethics, Risks and Hazards, Political Economy, Social Construction of Nature, Carbon Cycle, Trees, Uranium, Bottled Water, Electronic Waste, and Tuna Fishing.
Course Outcomes M.Sc. students who take this course gain knowledge, skills and proficiency in the following subjects
1. The particulars of ecosystem,
2. The ecosystem and cultural development,
3. The culture theory,
4. The sustainable development,
5. Factors that affect sustainability,
