UZB 220E - Mechanical Vibrations

Course Objectives

The overall aim of the course is to teach the fundamental aspects of mechanical vibrations. This course will provide the required knowledge/skills to:
- Obtain mathematical models for basic mechanical systems,
- Perform free and forced response analyses of single degree of freedom systems,
- Perform free and forced response analyses of multi degree of freedom systems,
- Design systems for vibration suppression.
