EUT 271E - Research for Product Design
Course Objectives
1. To provide an understanding of the basic principles of research.
2. To provide an understanding of how research can help solving a design problem.
3. To provide an overview of research methods specifically used to inform the design process. 4. To maintain that the students have experience in using some of these methods.
Course Description
Scientific Research, Research for Design, Research Methods Commonly Used to Inform the Design Process, User Research Methods, Observation, Interviewing, Focus Group Studies, Ethnography, Video Ethnography, User Profiles and Personas, Scenario Building, Visual and Verbal Narrative Development.
