Course Objectives		The course is designed to introduce undergraduate industrial design students to approaches and methods of statistics.
Course Description		It includes methods for dealing with qualitative and quantitative data. Topics included are (but not limited to) samples and populations; continuous and discrete data; graphical methods of description; univariate frequency distribution; graphing results; univariate descriptive statistics and inferential statistics; measures of central tendency; range; variance; standard deviation; interpretation of standard deviation; measures of distribution skewness and kurtosis; methods for quantifying qualitative data.
