PEM 492E - Graduation Project

Course Objectives

1. To develop a graduation project that prove the professional level and all knowledge gained through landscape architecture learning process within the all professional field that constitute landscape architecture learning
2. Enforce the learning period of the student by critics developing through the project
3. To reach a complete synthesis by the knowledge and abilities gained through learning process; development of the solutions and propose solutions

Course Description

Problem definition: Analysis and investigation of conditions, constraints, possibilities and requirements of the site and its environment. Transformation of design information into design knowledge. Developing design concept. Defining design criteria and their priorities. Transformation of results of analysis into spatial relations. Based on the design knowledge and experience throughout the design education, to reach the synthesis. Developing solution alternatives, and proposing final solution.
