Active participation and attendance is highly important for the course. Students will submit a portfolio and a final project with a given format at the end of the semester. The ellective course "Design Drawing & Other Stories" is constructed on six main themes which are Object, Derive, Milieu, Detail, Hybrid and Narrative.
Object :
Draw an object from your everyday life without depicting. Don't use shadows, scribbles, smudges and tones etc. Just draw it with a fine-tip ink pen and draw it with clear lines only.
Derive :
Draw an object with a range of different shapes and functions (eg. different brush shapes) that varies in forms with different needs and functions. Draw an object for your everyday life without depicting. Don't use shadows, scribbles, smudges and tones etc.
Milieu :
Draw an object considering a situation in which that object resides within in a close relationship in that environment. Just draw it with a fine-tip ink pen and draw it with clear lines only. Draw them with singular lines with a thin tip pen without shadow, scribble and stain.

Detail :
As in the same object and derive it is within the integrity of the object, just draw a characteristic detail of the object with singular thin and clear lines with a fine-tip pen without using shadows, scribbles, and smudges.

Hybrid :
This phase includes hybridization of some digital modelling and collage techniques and all kind of superposing experiments on hand drawn material with the digital media altogether.
Narrative :
After working on many different mediums both digital and analog in this last phase of the course our goal will be constructing a narrative with all these tools up to this time.
