Course Objectives It is aimed to make the student gain the skills/experience in constructional design, building element systems’ design and in the integration of building elements.
Course Description Following issues will be studied during the course that will be partly theoretical, but mostly design studio;
-constructional design,
-Design of building element systems considering related requirements, criteria and conditions,
- Integration of building element systems with each other with a holistic approach (roof/exterior wall, exterior wall/window-doors, exterior wall/floor, floor/stair, exterior wall/internal sub-dividers, floor/internal sub-dividers and etc.).
To this end, analysis, design and integration of each building element and its components will be discussed within the framework of this process according to the given criteria and limits.
