Course Objectives This course aim, 1- To deal with the problem of “seeing”, demonstrating the difference between looking and seeing. 2- To contribute to improving the cerative thought on visual-intellectual issues. 3- To contribute in visual-artistic and cultural sensitivity.
Course Description Technical and historical information about photograph. Photograph and human.
The composition of a photograph, the problems of photograph. Space and its problems, use of natural light, special lighting issues. Photographer as an artist. The relation and inter action between art and photograph. The impact of photography on the development of contemporary art and the development of aesthetic conception. Photography practice.
Course Outcomes ents who pass the course will be able to, 1- Comprehend the values that constitutes the photograph. 2- Determine the place of photograph within arts and its relation with visual arts. 3- Understand the effects and differences of photograph on visual aesthetics and interpretation within the development process. 4- Grasp the functionality of photography as a tool of expression.
5- Determine the effectiveness of photography within the contemporary art.
