Course Objectives Main objective of this course is to give descriptive information about the usage of plant materials in landscape design
Course Description In the planting design working with plants as landscape design materials, composition and design characteristics of plant materials, technical considerations on species selection: climate, cultural suitability, availability, size, costs, and maintenance of plants, exploring plant composition and plant-space relationship.
Course Outcomes Students succesfully completed this course will be able to:
I. Foresee the design potential of plants
II. Analyse and discuss a completed planting design
III. Bring solution to planting design problems
IV. Be able to draw a planting design project with all its technical details
V. Use different drawing techniques in planting composition projects
