PEM 244E - Landscape Construction II

Course Objectives

This course discusses specialty topics in landscape construction and design implementation. It studies the landscape application techniques into four distinct parts: (1) Sustainable use of plants, Planting and Maintenance Techniques, (2) Irrigation Design and Construction, Water harvesting and Recycling (3) Lighting Design and Practice, guidelines for landscape energy conservation, the need for darkness and efficient lighting, (4) Noise Control, (5) Quantity Survey and Cost Estimation.
