Course Objectives
-encouraging students to be informed of the historical and contemporary spatial processes that transform the city;
- introducing students alternative skills of observing, researching and documenting a place with a critical thinking;
- producing embodied knowledges of place and re-present these in reproductive ways.
Course Description
The course aims to cover the below content:
-exploring the urban and architectural transformations in relation to global and local politics, activities, flows, and events;
-exploring the responses architecture and art produces due to urban transformations;
- discussing the concept of place in architecture and art through theory and practice;
- develop an understanding of representation and performative production in architecture.
